Supporting Choice

You can help support The Choice Program with a donation in the form of check or credit card payment. The Shriver Center at UMBC administers all of the Choice Program's donations. The Choice Program receives 100% of the donations, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Donations will be used to support youth initiatives such as recreational and cultural activities to include tickets to games, events, aquarium, museums, arts programming etc. Donations will also be used to support families in need of school supplies, clothing, and other essentials.

Checks

Checks should be made payable to the UMBC Foundation and mailed along with a completed gift form.

Secure/Online Payment

You can use Master Card, Visa or American Express to make a secure online gift. Under 'Designate Gift' select the Shriver Center, and in 'Other' specify Choice.

Other ways to contribute The Choice Program seeks in-kind donations of office supplies, computers, media equipment, sports equipment, tutoring/art supplies and furniture. We love pro-bono help from people such as development and public relations consultants.

We also would love successful professionals to hold training workshops for our kids, and professional development for our staff.
